A father holds a special place in our lives. My heart is always filled with joy during this time because we have a chance to honor those who have invested in the lives of others as a father. A father or father-figure doesn't have to be a biological parent. It's the person who resonates with us in our hearts as the one who supported and shaped us in our life journey.
I personally choose to embrace this time to focus and celebrate all of the fathers and father-figures who have sacrificed and are invested in the well being of others. I hope that you will find ways to honor the fathers around you. If you don't have a person to honor, for whatever reasons, consider joining with someone else to help them to celebrate the fathers in their life. The expression of joy, even if it for someone else, is the best way to show leadership.
