Happy March and Women's History Month! I love the month of March because it's filled with many exciting activities such as Women's History, March Madness, and --drum roll, my birthday month!
Typically, around this time I re-ignite a personal journey of self-reflection on my life, marriage, family, friends, and business relationships to make sure that all pieces of my life are aligned with my purpose so that I can serve my family and clients with excellence.
If it's ok, please allow me to have a transparent moment and share my heart with you. I believe that I start this journey of self-reflection around this time because I begin to miss my mother (RIH) the most around my birthday until Mother's Day. I'd be the first to admit, that even though I am a CEO & Leadership Trainer, I am still a "momma's baby" at heart. I've finally learned during my journey, that it's okay to be human.
Even though, I still miss her daily, which is okay, as I shared in my book, The Irreplaceable Mother, I feel empowered knowing that she was a leader at home, community, and in her profession, like so many other women. So much so, that I create a new program that will be released soon called, The Irreplaceable Mother Bootcamp, to help those who struggle with loosing a parent, and need to discover how they can live on empowered. Therefore, my heart is full of love, admiration, and awe as I recognize women are leaders daily and make a positive impact our world!
